• Pillowtop → Adds a layer of plush memory foam on top of the spring and foam system. This creates a more enveloping, body-hugging surface that cradles pressure points such as shoulders and hips. Side sleepers and those who like a softer, more cushioned feel often prefer this option.

Yes. Our mattresses are made to NZ standard sizing, so they fit most frames, including slatted, platform, and adjustable bases. For best support and warranty coverage:

• Slats should be spaced no more than 7.5 cm apart.
  
• The base should be sturdy and flat, with no sagging.
  

This ensures even support and prevents damage to the mattress.

Yes, but our design makes it incredibly easy. Both the Coze wooden base and the Slumber fabric base use slide-and-lock connectors instead of screws or bolts. These connectors slot firmly into place, forming a stable joint that won’t loosen over time. Assembly takes most customers 2–5 minutes! and requires NO TOOLS at all! Because there are no screw holes, the bases can be disassembled and reassembled multiple times without wear, making them perfect if you move house often.

SleepyCo bed bases are built with strong NZ standard framing and reinforced slat support.

All our bases safely support up to 300 kg total combined weight (including mattress + sleepers).

To maintain structural integrity, the weight must be evenly distributed and the base must be used on a flat, level surface. Jumping on the bed, heavy impact, or concentrated pressure on a single area is not recommended and may void the warranty.

Yes. SleepyCo offers free delivery across the entire Auckland region. Most orders are delivered the same day or the next day depending on the time of purchase.

For customers outside Auckland, standard freight rates apply, with delivery typically taking 3–5 business days.

Delivery times vary depending on location, but we prioritise fast turnaround:

• Auckland: Within 24 hours, and we can even organise same-day delivery if booked in advance.
  
• North Island (outside Auckland): Usually 1–3 business days.
  
• South Island: Typically 3–4 business days.
  

Our compact-box packaging also makes it easier to deliver into apartments, lifestyle blocks, and homes with tricky access.

Mattresses are vacuum compressed, rolled, and sealed in heavy duty plastic before being boxed. This protects them from dust, dirt, and moisture during transit and makes them easy to move through doorways, staircases, and hallways.

Bed bases are shipped flat packed in labelled cartons with clear, step by step assembly instructions. The Slumber Fabric Bed Base uses a tool free connector system, while our other bases include the required Allen key for easy assembly.

Yes! you can request a change or cancellation before your order has been dispatched.

Once your order has been picked up by our courier or is out for delivery, we’re unable to cancel it.

If you need to make a change, contact us immediately at admin@sleepyco.co.nz or 027 533 7920, and we’ll do our best to help before your order leaves our warehouse.

You’ll receive an instant order confirmation email with your purchase details. Once your order is packed and dispatched, you’ll receive another email (and often an SMS) with tracking information so you can follow your delivery in real time.

Yes. All SleepyCo mattresses come with a 100 night comfort trial.

We ask that you sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights to allow your body time to adjust.

If after that you’re not satisfied, you can request a return during the trial. A $120 return fee applies, and the mattress must be clean, undamaged, and used with a mattress protector.

Exchanges are available after 7 nights, but the replacement mattress does not include a new 100 night trial.

If you’d like to return your mattress after the 30-night adjustment period, simply contact us at admin@sleepyco.co.nz. We’ll ask for a few photos to confirm the mattress is clean, undamaged, has been used with a protector, and is placed back in its original packaging.

Once approved, returns within Auckland include a $120 return fee and must be booked for a scheduled pickup or drop-off.

If you’re outside Auckland, you will need to return the mattress to our warehouse yourself or arrange a freight company at your own cost.

After the mattress arrives back and passes inspection, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

All approved returned mattresses are donated to local charities, families in need, or community organisations whenever possible.

We do not resell returned mattresses.

Mattresses:

Covered by a 10 year limited warranty, protecting against permanent sagging (beyond industry standards), broken or faulty springs, foam defects, and stitching faults.

Bed Bases:

Covered by a 2 year limited warranty on the frame, legs, connectors, and structural components.

This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect assembly, overloading, jumping on the base, dragging it across the floor, exposure to moisture, or any modifications made to the structure.

For fabric bases, the warranty does not cover stains, marks, fabric wear, or damage caused by pets, liquids, or improper cleaning methods.

If you ever have an issue, email admin@sleepyco.co.nz with photos and your order details, and our team will assess your claim in line with New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act requirements.

We accept all major debit and credit cards. For flexibility, we also partner with Afterpay and Zip, which allow you to split your purchase into smaller, interest free instalments. Bank transfer is also available on request.
