Kia ora! SleepyCo is proudly family owned and run by a husband and wife team with three energetic boys. Back in 2022, we realised that long work hours were taking time away from our kids, so we made a change. We built SleepyCo to create a more balanced life and to bring Kiwis reliable, affordable sleep products they can trust.
We started SleepyCo with 10 mattresses stacked in our garage, delivering them across Auckland. Now, we’ve grown into a full sleep brand, with supportive mattresses, sturdy bases, and one mission: to make better sleep affordable for everyday Kiwis.

Our bed bases are manufactured locally in Auckland using New Zealand pine, chosen for its natural strength, durability, and long-lasting stability. Every base is crafted with genuine Kiwi workmanship and built to handle real New Zealand living — strong families, busy homes, and everyday use.
We’re also investing heavily into growing New Zealand manufacturing. We’ve already purchased our own mattress-production machinery for NZ, and are currently transitioning from full-time manufacturing in Australia to part-time production here in Auckland, with fast, clear plans to move to full NZ manufacturing. This means better quality control, faster delivery times, and products truly made for New Zealand sleepers.

2022
A year in the making
Our very first baby showroom was born, small, cute but private!
We were onto something with our private showrooms but also allowed us to continue to work from home
2023
NZ Nation wide Shipping
We made the leep and partnered with Mainfreight and their 2Home services that allowed us to ship our goods all accross NZ to kiwis even in the most remot regions!
2024
Relocation and added products
As SleepyCo grew, we expanded our range to include premium bed bases designed to finally match the quality of our Bamboo Bliss mattress. We also introduced stylish headboards, completing the collection and cementing SleepyCo as a full luxury bedding brand, without the luxury price tag.
In 2024, we relocated to Waimauku and expanded our storage and operations space more than tenfold, allowing us to serve customers faster, hold more stock, and continue delivering the honest value Kiwis trust us for.
